Jesse Jacoby is the founder of Emergent and a sought-after management consultant with extensive experience implementing strategic initiatives and achieving business transformation goals. He partners with Fortune 500 and midmarket companies to provide program leadership and strategic change management services for high-stakes initiatives. Jesse brings a unique blend of business acumen and creative thinking combined with a deep understanding of people, organization, and culture. Clients appreciate his ability to build internal change capability while executing against their strategic initiatives.
Jesse has led transformation programs for Lowe’s, Gap Inc., Mattel, Unilever, ServiceNow, Capital One, Mondelez, Walgreens, JetBlue, and many others. He has delivered successful outcomes across a range of high-stakes business initiatives involving corporate restructuring, organizational redesign, mergers, technology deployments, process reengineering, and cost-cutting. Jesse is also the developer of two organizational performance products: Change Accelerator and Rocket Manager. He is the publisher of Emergent Journal and the Emergent Insights newsletter.
Jesse has 15+ years of management and consulting experience and is an alumnus of Booz & Company, Accenture, and Right Management (Manpower). He has experience across multiple industries, including retail, financial services, automotive, healthcare, transportation, and energy. Jesse is adept at all organizational levels, and typically engages with executive sponsors, project leaders, middle managers, and frontline employees.
Prior to his consulting career, Jesse served as Director of Marketing for COS, Inc. (now Pivot), a technology company providing information services to the scientific research community. His product marketing strategies supported the company’s growth through two rounds of venture funding, a five-fold expansion, and positioning for acquisition.
Jesse holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins University, as well as an MS in Communications. He has served as an Executive Committee member of the Johns Hopkins University Alumni Council as well as a founding member of the Dean’s Alumni Advisory Board at Carey Business School. Jesse has contributed content to the Project Management Institute (PMI), Association of Training & Development (ATD), ProjectsAtWork, Forrester, Leadership & Change, TechTarget, and N2.
